King Abijah Takes a Stand

2 Chronicles 13

King Abijah took a stand against Jeroboam and his wicked idolatry. He listed many the things that Jeroboam had done wrongly against God. Jeroboam set an ambush against Judah. The priests of Judah sounded their trumpets, and the men gave a great shout. God heard the cries of Judah and struck the children of Israel before them. The warriors of Judah were then able to subdue Israel. The children of Judah prevailed because they relied on the Lord God of their fathers.
