What is Baptism?

There is much confusion in the religious world over what baptism is. The Bible, God's Word, tells us exactly what baptism is. If we read all that the Bible has to say about baptism, we will understand not only what it is, but also who it is for and why we should do it.

Match the Bible verses to the information on baptism. (Some information may have more than one verse and some verses may give more than one piece of information!) Write the letter of the information next to the Bible verse that gives the information. Then cross out any information for which there is no Bible verse.
