Some people think the church is a building where we worship God. The Bible tells
us that the church is God's saved people. It is His kingdom. Color the picture that shows God's church. Draw
an "X" through the picture that is not God's church.
The Bible does not mention special "church buildings". The Bible tells us that
the church met in various places. Acts 2:46 says they went from house to house breaking bread, and
Acts 20:7-8 tells us that some met in an upper room. Acts 16:13 tells of some going to the riverside
to preach to people. Numerous passages in the book of Acts indicate that when Paul went to a new
city, the first place he went was to the Synagogue to preach to the religious people. Oddly enough,
there is no mention of a building whose only purpose was for Christian worship.
